For a polymer clay art festival at Mayak Art House I designed a set of posters, flyers, brochures and gallery labels
Working on this project was a great pleasure and fun, and it was the first event for which I did not follow the black and white color scheme of the gallery. But it couldn’t be any other way, as polymer clay art is all about color.
At that time polymer clay was quite a new medium in Poland, and usually it was perceived as cheap and trashy. The goal here was to present the polymer clay objects – mostly jewelry – in a way that would offset their elegance, uniqueness and beauty.
The pieces on display were so varied and decorative, that I decided to keep the layouts and typography very simple, to let the original art shine as much as possible.
