Client: Alwaro, Bez i Agrest, Casa del Cane, Abidream, Mirasol Polonia
Role: design, illustration
This is not just one project but a few examples of logo marks that I designed. I have chosen only kennel logos for here, and I have done so on purpose: kennel logos often are less about trends than the company ones, and more about stories behind them. I want to share how I see the stories.
This logo was designed for a Little Lion Dog kennel. The logo was to represent the elegance of those unusual dogs, and do so in a minimalistic way.
This is a logo that I designed for a very small kennel, where the dog (just one) is first of all a loved family member. I thought it a good idea to use the profiles of the dog and the owner’s daughter to illustrate the human-canine bond.
The only requirement from the client was that the logo should depict certain breeds. The idea for the design came quite naturally from the kennel’s name: Dog House
The owner of Abidream kennel is very emotional about her dogs, and she asked me for a logo that would reflect that in some, preferably dreamy, way.
This might be the most decorative piece of design I have ever done, but once I’ve seen the name, the Art Nouveau Villa Mirasol came to my mind, and I just couldn’t get it out. I sketched an Art Nouveau inspired design just for fun, with dog head silhouettes where there normally would be flowers, and then I thought why not? The client liked the idea, and so the logo stayed.
